After a decade of being closed, Belgrade’s Museum of Contemporary Art has been reopened to the public, in tip-top condition.

The museum had been gathering dust for 10 years for a lack of funds in the aftermath of the wars of the 1990s.

But now the Serbian capital finally has a place to display the works of the country’s world-class artists.

Located at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, the building was constructed in the ‘60s in the then modernist style of socialist Yugoslavia.

It is open this week for 24 hours a day and the entrance is free, so take advantage
